ID-227 Oil sheen sensor for marine applications.

This sensor from Leakwise detects the presence of thin layers of hydrocarbons or other organic solvents on water, and monitors the buildup.

The ID-227 is used for the early detection, warning and control of oil leaks and spills in off-shore applications including intake towers of desalination plants, oil tanker loading bouys and piers,oil rigs and lagoons.  The ID-227 is also deployed in lakes and rivers, open channels and retention ponds.
